To be POPIA compliant

To be in compliance with POPIA, any entity that accesses, controls, or processes personal information must take sufficient measures to keep that data secure and private. This is very similar to GDPR legislation for EU citizens.
To achieve the required level of data protection required by POPIA, organisations must:
1. Constantly assess their systems for vulnerabilities
2. Prioritize vulnerabilities according to risk level
3. Patch and contain vulnerabilities quickly and effectively
4. Document all actions taken to remediate the vulnerabilities.

Elements Partner Dashboard

The Partner Dashboard in the F-Secure Elements Security Center is now available. For partners who manage companies on behalf of their customers, this Dashboard gives an overview of all Elements products for all the companies under their control. It also provides the ability to jump to issues for resolving them more quickly and efficiently than ever before. The dashboard is the default view available to users who have administrative access at Partner level while administrative users at Company level will see the Company Dashboard.

FluBot Android malware is spreading fast

A new Android malware called Flubot is spreading in Europe. FluBot steals passwords and login information to your online accounts, personal details, and banking information. The information is used to make payments (or in other words: steal your money), account takeover and online identity theft. FluBot also sends SMS messages to new victims and spreads itself further. All of this is done without the users’ knowledge.

FluBot has so far been detected mostly in European countries. It’s likely to spread also to the rest of the world if the threat actors behind it aren’t stopped.
